Blood Donation Drive

The annual charity program of blood donation campaign or known as “Blood Donation Drive 2021” by TSM Charity Golf Foundation (TSMCGF) is an annual activity in cooperation with Pusat Darah Negara and IGB Real Estate Investment Trust. For the first time this year, the working committee has decided to extend the event for two (2) days which was held on the 3rd and 4th April 2021 at South Court, Mid Valley Megamall. The event was a success as we obtained permission from the National Security Council (MKN).

The main purpose of this campaign is to provide awareness to the public about the importance of blood donation and its health advantages for donors. The intention of this campaign is to educate the public on the advantages of blood donation and at the same time to support Pusat Darah Negara to increase sufficient blood supplies for the use of those in need. Therefore, the Blood Donation timing for this year’s event is definitely sought for as it shall fill up the blood bank before the fasting month of Ramadhan and Hari Raya celebration and is expected to increase the supply sufficiently. This year, we manage to get more than 500 pints for both days which is an outstanding achievement during this pandemic.
