The TSM Charity Golf Foundation (1000839-K) is a registered charity aiming to achieve a series of objectives through contributions made by corporations and individuals at a series of charity events held during the course of each year.
It was officially recognised in this capacity on the 5th May 2010 and was granted tax exemption status from the Ministry of Finance in April 2011. Prior to this, the organisation have been raising funds for charitable causes since 2003 under the name of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Charity Golf.
The organisation has several objectives it hopes to achieve through the donation of funds to a variety of causes. The main objective is to alleviate suffering and improve living conditions for those most at risk due to socio-economic circumstances beyond their control. The secondary objective is to provide scholarship funds for promising students to further their education overseas and provide an avenue for young amateur golfers to improve their game in an academy environment.
