GALVEN Kendall Green, 15, registered his first win in the 2014 Proton-Tan Sri Muhyiddin (TSM) Golf Challenge at the Glenmarie Golf and Country Club,in Shah Alam yesterday. The zero-handicapped golfer who represented Selangor in the Under-21 boys’ category, carded a five-over 77, to end the four-day tournament with a total score of 290.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 – A total of 81 under-21 golfers teed-off in the annual Proton-TSM Golf Challenge which started Thursday at the Glenmarie Golf and Country Club. According to the Proton-TSM Golf Challenge statement here Thursday, the tournament will be accompanied by 54 men and 27 women, all of whom have been identified as handicap 12 and below golfers from all over the country.
Tan Sri Muhyiddin (TSM) Golf Challenge 2014 should be used as a platform by local amateur golfers to enhance their skill but also try to earn a place in the national squad for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
TSM Charity Golf President Tan Sri Effendi Norwawi said amateur golfers need to take the opportunity to show their talent since golf will return as one of the Olympic events after 112 years. Read more →
KUALA LUMPUR: MOHAMMAD Firdaus Mohamad Hadzromi, 18, was 4 years old when he lost his right arm in a motorcycle accident. The doctors had to amputate his lower arm, leaving him to live a frustrating and depressing childhood. Now, the graphic design student from Alor Star can live normally after 14 years of waiting for an artificial limb.

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (pic) has urged non-governmental organisations (NGO) and the private sector to participate more in corporate social responsibility (CSR) events to raise public awareness, especially for blood donation campaigns.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the Sports Golf Scholarship will see young golf enthusiasts pursuing training locally and abroad.
